“Okay, wow. Jonas. Is. A. Genius. She looks drop dead gorgeous! Samantha Wills rings, nice touch. Cool car. Wow, that’s cool too. And that. And that. And that.” Yep, this is one wedding where the list of things we love goes on and on.
After a romantic proposal in New York, Nikki and Daniel returned home to tie the knot at South Australia’s beautiful Waverley Estate. Nikki tells us, “we chose the estate purely because of its relaxed poolside vibe and gorgeous surroundings. It was the perfect place for us to spend the weekend celebrating with our family and friends, which is what meant most to us.”
Owners of event styling company Sash Events, Nikki and her sister Danielle did an amazing job of putting everything together – creating a beautiful, open air ceremony with festoon lighting and a classically styled reception with lounge areas by the bar and simple table settings.
Of her dress Nikki says, “the dress was the easiest bit! I found a photo in a magazine of Olivia Wilde wearing it to the Emmy’s and I had to track it down! Anna DaFonte in Sydney was incredible to work with. Reem Acra makes the most exquisite gowns and the details in the capped sleeve were what I loved most about it.”
