After a 15 month engagement, Melinda and Brendan set out the plan their perfect wedding. Two very opinionated individuals, the couple was pleased to find that their ideas ‘clicked’ quite well, opting for a warehouse wedding with a 1940s/post war era style.
With styling, flowers and the whole shebang by the lovely Event Avenue, who Melinda tells us was one heck of a vendor.
“Our Event Avenue team are a pretty incredible bunch! I loved being part of it and the vision Gabbi (Creative Director) has – I don’t know what to say, I’m always blown away by her talent. I’m incredibly lucky to have her a bestie and a boss lady,” explains the bride, who adds that Lilli Waters of I Got You Babe Weddings was pretty amazing as well.
“She’s such a hard working woman that I didn’t see tire the whole day, and she has an incredible eye for capturing things. She was upbeat, cool and kept us going! Everyone mentioned how lovely and easy she was to be around. We have wicked photos.”
With their day of days now behind them, the newlyweds, Melinda and Brendan, couldn’t be more pleased with their nuptials, telling us, “we are both so happy that we went for a different style that was unique to us and our bunch. It suited us and the guests, and the suppliers – we just couldn’t have picked better to make it happen.” Amen to that!
