On this occasion, it was the groom who took charge, with Caleb organising their venue as well as some of their most important vendors including photographer Rachel Kara, a decision that we think warrants enough brownie points to last a lifetime. One of our favourite Sydney photographers, Rachel’s candid, honest approach gets us every time.
For all his hard work, Kath rewarded Caleb by arriving in the most breathtaking, embellished gown by Bo & Luca, which you might of spied in our issue four fashion editorial (which is available for purchase here with free postage). When asked about his favourite moment Caleb unsurprisingly tells us, “yes it may sound cliche but catching my first glimpse of my wife Kath – she looked incredible, it may have brought a tear to my eye.” We don’t blame him!
Every element of their day, inspired by a “less is more” approach was beautifully tied together. Their stunning arbour, arranged by one of Kath’s bridesmaids, perfectly complimented their rustic backdrop and floral stationery and wine labels created by Santiago Sunbird, a legendary duo based in Melbourne whose pretty stationery suits can also be seen here.
