Holly and Josh admit that their style changed dramatically from the start of the planning process to the day of the wedding. Inspired by a mix of Hello May and Pinterest, the couple opted for a relaxed vibe which included a buffet and a whole lotta dancing.
Having recruited Wild Elk Designs to help organise the day, Holly tells us that her good friend Carleigh was her go-to-girl for ideas and brainstorming.
“Without a doubt Wild Elk Design went above and beyond what we could have imagined. She spent countless hours with us, working on the wedding, She helped us through every step of the way since Day 1 of being engaged,” says the bride, who also scouted Olguin Photography and Clementine Posey to join her awesome team of vendors.
Despite looking at several venues, the pair landed on Belgenny Farm thanks to a recommendation from Josh’s mum. “We had looked at several venues and was often disheartened after hearing the huge price tag or just not feeling the right ‘vibe’ or seeing a lack of character within the reception space. As soon as we met the staff and saw the Granary, we fell in love, and now the rest is history.”
These days, happily hitched, Holly and Josh are living life with their own unique view…”just doing life with your best-friend. Short, I know, but unlike many people’s belief, we believe it’s the start of our lives together, rather than the end of excitement and adventures.”
