From day dot, Bridget and Dylan knew they’d get hitched in Bali – a place that holds a super special place in their hearts and is where they’ve made many-a-memories.
“After spending many days researching online we narrowed the search down to two venues. Whilst in Bali we visited both of them and instantly fell in love with Villa The Sanctuary due to its remote location, sprawling grounds and breathtaking views in its lush jungle setting,” says Bridget, adding that they were slightly influenced by Moroccan culture.
“We served Moroccan cuisine, and we incorporated the feel through the use of lanterns, touches of gold and Moroccan inspired textiles, and selected florals in bold rich tones of pink, red and burgundy. We recommended a dress code for our guests that reflected the vibe, and people really embraced it,” she explains, admitting that her fave detail was easy pickings, thanks to the amazing work of Flossie Flowers.
“The flowers simply blew us away. Although we had mapped out almost every detail of the decor, our florist Flossie really outdid herself with florals,’ says the bride, sharing her advice for other couples soon tying the knot.
“Don’t be afraid to dream. Be realistic in your budget and cut out things that are not important to you. Spend money on good food and wine and ensure that you have a great photographer.”
