Rich, ladylike colours and antique wares referencing pre-war southern Europe were placed against luxury white gowns by Sabina Motasem from Through The White Door and modern hair and makeup by Djurra Lifestyle Salon and Spa to create this strong, beautiful and bold styled shoot captured by photographer Natasja Kremers.
A clash of colours and generations – both past and present, stylist Kim Pearson who worked closely with Jappalin of Flower Talk tells us she was inspired by the idea of being unafraid to take the old and make it new. “Inviting contrast and drama. Deliberately flouting convention”, adds Kim who organised De La Rose Cupcakes, Sheree Dornan and Calligraphy Beautiful Writing to help execute her ideas.
An oasis of gentility grounded in the harsh reality of the Australian outback, Seneca, Monde Design Store and Denise McConnochie Veil Maker also contributed to this stunning array of images that once again have unlocked the idea that there’s no right or wrong when it comes to creating a day that’s all about you.
