Dubbing themselves ‘city people’, there was no doubt that Tess and Cam would tie the knot in Melbourne CBD. Hoping to find an industrial style venue that would act as a blank canvas of sorts, the two landed on Two Ton Max . “once we saw Two Ton Max we were sold- North Melbourne is where my family grew up and my grandfather had his business there so it is special to me,” explains Tess, who hired Cassie of Firecracker Events to help pull together their ‘Palm Beach’ themed celebration.
“Nothing was too much trouble. Cassie was so calm and supportive every step of the way. Cameron would often say she was like my spirit animal – whenever everything got a bit much and I was stressed and overwhelmed, Cassie was there with a can-do attitude and a solution.”
Along with Firecracker Events, a heap of other amazing vendors added their expertise to the day – including the likes of She Takes Pictures He Makes Films, Fig & Salt and Badlands & Co. “We are so happy with all the vendors we worked with,” the couple tells us, reminding us the tried and true meaning of marriage.
“It’s always having someone to go halvies with when you can’t decide what you want off a menu! And all the other soppy love stuff… commitment, love etc.” True that!
