Being able to create a relaxed yet super fun wedding was at the top of Mic and Nick’s wish list and The Briars, a delightful old homestead in Victoria situated on 230 hectares of native bushland, was where they chose to bring their vision to life.
Captured by Mel Boulden Photography, their day was jam-packed with DIY projects. “We arrived the day before the wedding to an empty old barn and fully decorated it ourselves. I feel like the whole wedding was DIY…” says Mic who found her vintage dress on Etsy before they’d even set a wedding date.
Featuring some of our fave vendors including Santiago Sunbird, as well as a bunch of talented friends and family (would you look at that cake!) this wedding was bound to be epic. “Enjoy the planning process and get your family involved it’s so rewarding and joyful,” says Mic who looking back, wouldn’t change a thing about their day of good times.
