The air outside is crisp and fresh. No one has paid any attention to this place for eons, allowing each wild daisy to flourish in its own time. She’s pleased to be left alone too, to play and let her imagination run free…
This romantic inspiration shoot captured by Utah-based photographer Chantel Marie is an ode to imperfection and femininity. “We drew inspiration initially from the daisy flower… We wanted to show them in a way that was feminine and beautiful”, she says.
Choosing to stray from tradition by featuring a Nasty Gal romper and vintage inspired veil by Danani, the emphasis of this shoot was the incredible bouquets put together by Lizy’s Lilies and the overall moodiness created by Chantel.
“My photography is naturally a bit darker and moodier. We wanted the look to be alternative… beautiful and feminine … but edgy and comfortable”, says Chantel who through her images has reminded brides-to-be everywhere that it’s okay to take risks and go your own way.
