After being together seven years, Ash and Nick decided to finally lock things down. Lucky for them, this pair won an amazing elopement from Joel of Barefoot & Bearded (whose own elopement you can check out here, shot by the super cool Joshua Mikhaiel) – the only catch being that they’d have to elope in Tasmania (how could they argue with that?!).

Telling us that the idea behind their day was pretty easy-going. “For us, it was just less about tradition and more about us – simple and easy,” says Ash, who looked absolutely stunning in her Stone Cold Fox gown (despite a small-but-hilarious spill in the snow).

A wedding overflowing with fun, it’s no wonder that the bride couldn’t decide on just one favourite memory. “I loved our first look and walking down the aisle together. We also had a snowball fight after the ceremony and that was pretty special, as well as the whole trek up to Marian’s Lookout where we had beers on a blanket in the snow and it was just such a nice moment!”

And as far as advice goes…this couple says, “try to be as prepared as you can but ultimately you got to roll with the day and enjoy it, shit happens even on your wedding day haha!”
