In an age where the concept of ceremony has been lost, I work closely with a couple to create a personal and meaningful experience that they can share with those they are closest to.

I truly believe that a wedding ceremony can be a unifying and transformative experience for two people. When planning a wedding, it’s tempting for couples to gloss over the ceremony and focus their energy on the food, drinks, the dress, the music – which are all important. However, it can mean you easily lose sight of why you are getting married. The ceremony process that I walk couples through has the ability to bring you back to what matters and gives you time to reflect on why you are getting married.

After 10 years as a social worker, I bring a unique insight into the role of a celebrant, understanding people and the complexity of our relationships and interactions. I have a love of human connection, and invest time in to understanding who you are and what makes you choose each other. I will work closely with you to create a ceremony that is warm, authentic, and genuine reflection of you and your relationship. Your guests will feel involved and engaged, and leave the ceremony knowing that they were a part of something special.

To hold space for a couple as they make this commitment to each other for life is an honour and a privilege and it’s not lost on me that I am incredibly lucky to be a part of that.
