These cool cats met on Australia Day in London “in a steamy nightclub called Infernos.” Need we say more? Fast-forward six years and you can see the spark is still well and truly alight! (See what we did there?) Add the fact that the bride and groomed swapped out a cake for shots of Fireball, and you can see why this wedding went off. All the pics below by Charlie Ralph Photography mean you can pore through every fun-loving part of it, just like we did…

THE VENUE “Yarramalong Valley Farm Stay was the first venue we viewed! I am a super impulsive person, so it was a 100% yes from me. It had everything we wanted and the vintage silos at the bottom of the property had so much character.”

DIY “I painted the signs for our food menu and drinks list. I used furniture from our house- the back of one of our closet timber door frames was the menu for dinner, and timber drawers from our tv cabinet were used as a menu for the bar. They worked a treat and are back in our house now. My bridesmaids made the natural confetti- petals and native leaves- collected from various properties in Yarramalong. The star of the show was the recycled timber bar that our mate built us. It was 3m long!

THE DRESS “My dress was from Babushka Ballerina – a boutique shop in Sydney. I wanted something that was really unique and also it was important that I was able to dance in whatever I wore. The girls at BB were so unreal. I was nervous going in, but from the very beginning, they made me feel so welcome. I told them about my dream of wearing blue boots and they did nothing but support and praise my idea. I feel like I left that shop with three new friends.

A WORD OF ADVICE “Make sure that the wedding reflects who you are as a couple! Also colour is the key to everything!”

FAVOURITE DETAILS “My blue Ellery boots. They were so eccentric and classy. The vintage crochet blankets that my parents collected. The fireball shots- these were given out at the end of the speeches. The cheese platter- my friend Jess styled the table with colourful vintage glass bowls, plates and boards that I have been collecting for years. My friends still talk about that platter- it had so much personality. Raj’s Corner – the BEST INDIAN FOOD IN THE WORLD.”

STANDOUT VENDORS “Kombi Keg South Coast! I have always wanted a Kombi and Simon really wanted kegs at our wedding- so it was the perfect combination. They were so awesome and the beers by Brew By U Hunter were delicious. They let us sample so many beers before we decided on six brews. All beers are 100% preservative and chemical free. Our property owner, Briony, was always there to help out with anything- she made our dreams possible and was so accommodating. And lastly, Charlie Ralph Photography was so dreamy to work with, we both felt so at home with them. They had a wicked sense of humour and 100% captured our energy on the day.
