Based in San Diego, Wide Eyes Paper Co, (first featured here) is a boutique stationery and design studio focused on weddings, parties, and everything in between. Created by Amanda Franz, her style is unconventional, adventurous and utilises a range of different printing methods including letterpress, gold foil stamping and embossing.
This recent watercolour invitation suite, designed for couple Kelsey and Michael was inspired by camp vibes and the vibrant hues of evergreen trees. “Kelsey and Michael were getting married at Camp Pendalouan and wanted to capture the beautiful forest scenery and venue by incorporating custom watercolour imagery throughout their stationery set”, says Amanda.
“The result is a beautifully crafted suite printed on natural cream card stock. The couple also had us create a custom illustration wedding weekend timeline printed on the backside of the invitation for their guests to know all the details of their wedding weekend.” Certainly not shy of details, this suite also included a custom designed envelope liner.
