It’s always a delight to see some of our favourite creatives join forces in bringing a project to light, and this uniquely ‘Unbridal’ shoot from the incredible Janneke Storm is no exception.
The Sunshine Coast photographer got together with wedding gown designer, One Day Bridal to create a rather stunning collection of photographs, capturing the essence of these one of a kind gowns.
“Their non-traditional approach to bridal gowns creating a new breed of editorial brides has always inspired me,” Janneke said of the Melbourne label.
Janneke explained that finding the right location for the shoot wasn’t easy, however the crew set their sights on an abandoned warehouse which suited the ‘not so typical’ bridal shoot.
There to offer their skills were hair and makeup artist Penny Antuar, whilst the epic florals came from Little Duck Botanicals.
“Hayley (of Wholehearted Studio) worked her magic and put together an editorial showcasing the One Day Bridal gowns ‘Bobbi’ and ‘Prince’, paired with designer accessories from the likes of Celine, Sarina Suriano and Holly Ryan.”
