If you’ve scooped up a copy of our brand spanking new Issue 16 (on sale now!), you’ll remember Brisbane couple Teags and Brad Jess and Riz, whose big day was captured by photographer Alice Mahran.

Despite a difficult search for the perfect location, there’s no denying that high school sweethearts found their perfect match with The Joinery – where they put together a stripped back, casual day with tonnes of foliage, wood and beautiful flowers. An ultra unique couple who opted for quite a bit of DIY, it’s no wonder that Teags and Brad chose some of the best in the industry to document their day.

One of their essential vendors for this gorgeous wedding was Joel Tronoff (you can learn more about him here!). This Brisbane based cinematographer has an obvious passion for creating stories through complex light and shadow imagery and prides himself on the authentic quality of his work.

Joel likes to create wedding films which are a true reflection of you and your lover, and is a sort of videography ninja – fading into the background so that he can capture the moments that are real and true and yours…no posing, no pushing, no parading. Just you.

Keen to see more of Joel’s work? Check out Jess and Riz‘s wedding video as well as his behind the scene’s look of our Laidback Bride Editorial Shoot, featured here.

And, of course, if you haven’t already…be sure to pick up a copy of our 2017 Real Wedding Special as well as Issue 16 at your local newsagent.
