Boy do we have a treat for all you Pinterest addicts out there, currently brainstorming styling ideas for your wedding. We’ve all seen modern and glam, and we think it’s safe to say a little Gatsby fever is ripping through the bridal industry right now, but never have we seen such a refreshing take on all three concepts rolled into one.
The lovely Carly from Smashing Events worked tirelessly with a talented crew of Queensland professionals to bring this concept together. Carly tells us “The inspiration for this shoot all started with the idea of an inner city rooftop party, and the black and white striped material. I love rustic, vintage aesthetic as much as the next person but the venue, its location and the inner city vibe really called for something edgier”
Shot by Queensland wedding photographer, Prue Franzmann, with floral styling by those clever lasses over at Cotton Blossom, this table setting is equal parts edgy and elegant, but not stuffy, thanks in large part to a massive dose of fun from the folk at Float Balloons who decked out the Limes Hotel Rooftop Bar with a mix of coral and metallic balloons featuring some crazy awesome typography… and hey, what’s a rood top party with out a piñata!
