Let’s face it – spending hours on Pinterest or flicking through dozens of wedding magazines is not every brides cup of tea. Having so many decisions to make (what kind of cake, flowers, stationery should I have? And will they all go?) can be incredibly overwhelming. Instead they’d rather someone come along and make sense of all their ideas and present them in one neat, pretty package.

Western Australian stylist Kristen of Peak Lane and photographer Sarah Jean decided to get together with other top notch vendors including Elvi DesignBohemian Bloom DesignsFree Love and Lily and the Angel and do exactly that. “We drew inspiration for this photo shoot from the relaxed bohemian vibe of the town Fremantle”, says Kristen. “I wanted the shoot to have a whimsical and ethereal feel, however with a strong colour palette which popped against the lush green landscape, reflecting the energetic vibe of the town.”

A mishmash of punchy colours and eclectic table decorations, this shoot (captured on film by 503 Films) provides all the answers on how to combine a plethora of ideas into one beautifully styled tablescape. Vintage decor, modern bridal gowns and wild, bright blooms all work together to create a playful yet sophisticated vibe that’s a little bit lovely, don’t ya think?
