Today we have the pleasure of sharing with you the dark and moody styling from a rather talented bunch of creatives. Orchid Flame speaks to the bride and groom who look outside the box – for something that doesn’t just portray a light and airy love story, but rather, revels in the darker, sensual side of things.

Inspired by the moody passion of Argentinian food, the venue, Porteno, in Surry Hills, NSW, provided the perfect backdrop for the moody theme, whilst the decedent styling by Ashdwon + Bee showcased the best of all creatives involved. Perfectly tied into the gold meets dark and sultry are the gorgeous watercolored stationary from Cass Dellar Design, whilst Fiona + Bobby, the dynamic husband and wife photography duo captured the gorgeous work.

The lovely Eternal Elegance were there to lend a hand on hair and makeup, whilst the lovely lace gowns came from White Meadow Bridal and head piece from Bride La Boheme.

“What came together was something opulent, alluring and sensual, with touches of gold seeping in from the cutlery, gold branches on the bouquet to the splashes of gold on the wedding cake.”

The cakes of course are the artistic (and damn delicious) works of Two Sweet Figs, whilst the beautiful florals belong to Kindred Floral,

“Love isn’t always light and airy, but often moody and sensual, so we wanted to showcase some of that essence in this shoot.”
