Loren Ioppolo advocates many things: dogs in bow ties, mismatched bridesmaids, DIY styling, dancing barefoot in your wedding dress and most importantly, photographs that aren’t covered in cheese (you know, the kind that makes you cringe).
Founded in 2008, Nectarine Photography (based in Perth, WA) takes an authentic yet creative approach to wedding photography. “We love to document that connection between two lovers to create images that tell your unique story,” says Loren.
Loren’s amazing skills were ever-present in Nicole and Clayt’s engagement shoot. Featuring the beautiful couple and their adorable sons, the shoot depicts the family in their purest form – playfully bonding in a series of natural moments.
“Clayt and I aren’t the most photogenic people at the best of times and usually feel uncomfortable in front of a camera. So when choosing a photographer for our big day we wanted someone that would make us feel comfortable and capture the natural moments rather than posed shots,” explains Nicole. “And we think the photos speak for themselves.”
