For Nicole and Adrian’s day, they wanted to stay true to Summerlees vibe – natural, romantic and elegant. “The way we described it to guests was ‘garden black-tie’ formal without being too reserved, in a romantic secret garden setting,” explains the couple, who hired some amazing vendors to help bring their vision to life.
“Dan O’Day made us feel very comfortable and we had no doubt that our photos would be amazing. Plus, you have to respect a photographer who has a cheeky dance in the corner whilst on the job,” says Nicole, adding that their floral arch was her fave detail from the day.
“The Sisters‘ amazing flower arch they made for our ceremony, this was definitely one of the key standout details from the day. They nailed the vibe perfectly. Whimsical, romantic and moody! It was perfect.”
As far as other standouts go, The Distillery and Eternal Elegance were pretty freaking amazing. As well, We Play Records ensured that the dance floor was jumping all through the night.
“One friend (attempted) to do the worm, people were break-dancing (which ended with one of them splitting their tuxedo pants) and even Adrian busted out dance moves that I hadn’t seen since our music festival going days.”
That’s not all…”There was even a moment when a group of friends hijacked the DJs microphones and started a singing battle in the middle of the dance floor to Justin Timberlake’s ‘Senorita’.” Sounds like an awesome time to us!
