Soy-based inks, 100 per cent recycled paper stocks, natural tones, vintage letterpress and a tree emblem – frankly folks invites just don’t get more earthy than that around these parts. Courtney and Matthew chose the clever chickies, Lucy and Sarah, at Lula & Bella – a Sydney-based bespoke wedding stationery company – to create these little monotone beauties, based around their South African farm wedding and their love of all things organic and natural.

The couple’s plan to plant a tree shortly after their ceremony resulted in the blind debossed tree emblem, says Lucy and Sarah, “which we thought was a beautiful idea! We wanted to somehow reflect the relaxed, rustic nature of a farm wedding so decided to hand-draw the venue map”. The invites were finished off with a small tag and twine for extra details and a handmade feel.
