At the risk of sounding like a broken record, here at Hello May we have so much love for all the creative souls who continue to think outside the square. Recently photographer Janine Kropla teamed with stylist Ashley Nicole to bring brides-to-be what we think is quite a cool concept.
Offering couples an alternative to vintage, rustic-inspired weddings, this shoot was all about introducing bohemian style brides to the ballroom. By mixing elegance with natural timbers and romantic shades of lavender, green, white and gold, their aim was to create a small, warm wedding atmosphere suitable for days when no one wants to be outside.
Instead of including a traditional coffee and sweets bar, they chose to feature an assortment of tasty teas along with cakes by Jenna Rae and stunning floral arrangements by Oak & Lily. Those who got to sample the delicious desserts later included makeup artist Sarah Gurevich and hair stylist Chelsea Marinelli. Their gorgeous models wore gowns from 7th Avenue Fashions and jewellery by Sugar Blossom Design, all of which had been carefully handpicked to tie in with the stationery by One Plus One Design and Karen Hare bowls. All cleverly brought together in one rather imposing space, we think they managed to create something pretty inspiring.
