Most of our brides wait years before their partner pops the big question. But not Lauren, no siree. After only six months together, Tom decided it was time to seal the deal. “…sounds crazy I know. It was a whirlwind romance!” says Lauren. “Tom was a country boy from an 18 thousand acre farm in Guilderton Moore River WA and I fell in love with Tom and his world on the farm quickly!”
With help from Pretty Willow Prop Hire, Lauren and Tom created an Australiana winter themed wedding. “We wanted to capture the Australian countryside with also a bohemian feel and a touch of winter nostalgia. This was brought to life by native foliage, natural woods, antique gold and dozens upon dozens of romantic pillar candles and blazing fires from hand cut tin drums.”
Despite more than a few drops of rain, Western Australian photographers Still Love beautifully captured every magical moment – from their soggy portrait session to their quirky custom illustrations and mouthwatering desserts. “… my favourite was the hand cut fire drums with our names drilled into them and cute doodles representing us carved into all the others, people loved it!” says Lauren who wore a vintage-inspired lace gown by Anastasia Collections and delicate flower crown by Fox and Rabbit.
