“Romantic” and “intimate” were the keywords which inspired Lauren and Michael’s big day (and man, did they pull off one heck of a celebration). Held on the bride’s family property, Tumbarumba Wines Escape, Lauren tells us that she’d always known she’d get married there.
“There was never a question. Unfortunately my poor husband to be was never going to get a say on that one. The farm has been in my family for a couple of generations and is a beautiful, picturesque property. Then add in the fact they have a winery and beautifully landscaped venue area that has amazing country and mountain views it was a no brainer,” says Lauren, who found her Rue De Seine at Hello May fave The Bridal Atelier.
“Not only was the dress beautiful, complimented my curves and seem to fit me perfectly but the gown was called ‘Fox Gown’ which was an amazing accidental coincidence as we have a thing for foxes and have a small business called Two Fox Creative. It was a sign and I had to have it!”
As for advice for brides and grooms-to-be, the couple (whose day was captured by the amazing Corinna & Dylan Photography) jokes to ‘just elope’…”If that’s not an option then I would say just to really soak up the day and appreciate every second. Don’t sweat the small stuff, whatever doesn’t get done don’t even worry about it just wake up and enjoy the day! Oh and write your vowels and speech as early as possible.. Not while you’re getting your hair done the morning of your wedding.. oopsies!”
