Happy first day of Spring everyone! We thought we’d start one of our fave seasons off right by releasing issue 14 of Hello May – on sale from today and stocked in newsagents nationally. Our gorgeous cover features the real wedding of Jen and James with photos by destination wedding photographer Danelle Bohane... doesn’t it make you just want to head to your nearest field of wild flowers for a good old fashioned frolic?
As usual this issue we’ve featured and chatted to 10 couples who have all recently tied the knot… sure we’ve shown you their gowns, blooms, cakes and invitations so you can gather inspo for your own day of good times, but we’ve also asked them for their wise words of wisdom as someone who’s just come out the other side of this whole wedding planning thing.
We’ve also upped the fashion anti this issue and included not one, not two but three epic editorials spewing forth with new season getups for you to git down in on your day of good times. From couture Vera Wang gowns to oh-so cool Alice McCall jumpsuits and an exclusive sneak peek at the new Rue De Seine collection no matter what your style our fashion department has got you covered. Literally.
Big ups to Free The Bird Photography (who’s latest workshop you can read about here), Cassandra Ladru, Matt Godkin and Scott Surplice for contributing to each of these shoots along with some of the best hair and makeup artists in the business including Sydney’s Liv Lundelius, The South Coasts Makeup By Megan and Byron Bay’s Luciana Rose. We can’t wait for you to check out the fruits of our labor shot on location at The Reedsmith’s house, Harvest Newrybar and Audley Dancehall in Sydney’s Royal National Park.
