Grab your passport and boarding pass because we’re heading to the good ol’ U S of A for Elizabeth and Dan’s celebration of love, captured by Matt & Tish Photography. Held at The Coffee Shop at Agritopia, the couple tells us, “we looked at a lot of options but at the end of the day we love how Agritopia looks. It’s where we first really talked to each other and crushed on each other, so the nostalgia and the vibe drew us there.”
Going for a simplistic, classic, timeless and elegant look, the pair scouted Stems from Love, Queso Good, Petite Party Studio and – best of all – Bosa Doughnuts to help pull off their day. “We were so glad that we did donuts for dessert. They were so good and not messy and everyone loved them,” explains Elizabeth, who tried on many dresses and went over five stores!
“The very last store I went to called Uptown Bridal in Chandler in where I found my dream dress. My mom actually picked it out and begged me to try it on (I initially did not want to try it on and did not think I would like it). As soon as I tried it on we all cried and decided it was the one! Definitely surprised me, but I loved the soft vintage style and was in love with the long sleeves! I didn’t want to take it off,” she tells us, though they add that marriage, to them, has always bene the idea of a team.
“Living life together and having way too much fun adventuring, exploring, or just sitting on the couch and doing nothing. Marriage to us is a gift from God, a picture of his goodness to us that He wouldn’t make us fight through life alone but have the support, love, encouragement, and help of a best friend and other half. Also sex.”
