While Anna and Kris agree that marriage is simply “having a big spoon and little spoon for life”, they were more than happy to throw the big party that comes along with getting hitched.
With their nearest and dearest by their side, Anna and Kris tied the knot at Our Lady of the Nativity Parish later partying at The Hideaway Retreat in the Blue Mountains.
“We knew we wanted to get married in the Blue Mountains away from the hustle and bustle of the city. There’s a powerful tranquility throughout the mountains that made for a magical setting for our big day,” explains the bride, adding the that idea behind their wedding was pretty straightforward.
“We wanted to put as much of our own positive energy into the day. Whether it was sewing each napkin, hand painting our seating chart or having donations to our personal charities as wedding favours, we wanted to give our guests a part of us and really feel who we were on the day,” says Anna, who looked gorgeous in her Carla Zampatti gown.

“Grace and Tim so effortlessly fell into the background and really allowed us to enjoy our day. We also felt at complete ease around them. They were great in hoarding our huge families for a photo it’s normally an impossible task!”
