Meet Yasmin and Sebastian. They have been together 4 years and we think they are a bit great. Both work with new arrival students at Noble Park English Language school and yas tells us “most of our students are of refugee background. Seb works in secondary and I work in primary. Although it can be tough and their stories gutting…. they’re the best kids ever – Full of hope!”
Yas and Seb wanted a relaxed vintage inspired wedding day that was full of colour and spewing forth with the love of family and friends, and by the looks of these pretty pictures by Erin and Tara Photography, that’s just what they got! They tied the knot at Smart Artz Gallery in Melbourne and kicked on into the evening at The Pavilion in beautiful Fitzroy Gardens.
We love Yas’s vintage look, she tells us her dress, from Moss and Spy was “butchered to knee length at a vietnamese seamstress”, and teamed with a vintage fur from the Global Vintage Collective and a veil found via Etsy store Velvet Owl!
So what was Yas’s favourite part of the day? “After our wedding dance (a whole 1minute and 24 seconds haha) which was more of a country jig to Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros ‘That’s What’s Up’…. we invited ALL the guests for a boogie during our wedding song. It was intoxicatingly fun and a whirlwind of love :) It was also awesome to see such a cultural cocktail come together!”
