With a love of the Adelaide Hills that they live in, Lindsay and Dan didn’t have to venture far for the beautiful setting of their wedding. “The Hills are our home! We live four minutes away [from Golding Winery] and so for our theme we used the colours of the hills in spring, native flowers and a hint of vintage. [We wanted a] very relaxed springtime country wedding.
And relax they did. Their photographer Elle from Elle DS Photography says, “I loved that they really focused on wanting to spend as much time as possible with their guests, spending the first hour after the ceremony relaxing in the gorgeous grounds of the winery, eating yummy wood-fired oven pizza and drinking cider!”
They went on to spend the night in the barn amongst the fairy lights, playing a few games of “dress twirling” with the young nieces and cousins (well to be honest, Dan had no part, that was just Lindsay). Lindsay said, “The atmosphere in the barn with all the fairy lights and curtains, and our first dance to Regina Spektor’s version of ‘Real Love’ was amazing! The whole day was just us in flowers and food form.”
