A small quaint wedding in beautiful Noosa was exactly what Hyunjoo and Ryland needed before jetting off to Korea for a more traditional style celebration. Shot by the wonderful Jodi McDonald (on 35mm film no less), the images show a relaxed vibe complete with a boat cruise amongst some stunning weather.
The bride, wearing a gorgeous Jenny Packham dress, tells us that her and her new husband loved every moment of their big day and were so grateful for the weather and location they had chosen to celebrate with family and friends. “The Boathouse was wonderful as it is on the riverside and once every windows opens, it’s more like a open space. In addition, the boat cruise was exceptional as the weather on the wedding day was awesome.”
Of the day, photographer Jodi McDonald tells us, “This gorgeous couple booked over the net, and we met the week leading into the wedding. A quaint intimate Australian wedding before a more traditional one in Korea. They met in Japan and now live and work in London. Perfect weather for both the ceremony overlooking Noosa Main Beach and the cruise along Noosa River with canapes and drinks before the reception. The flowers were definitely one of the most talked about feature of the day. I also loved the Mum and aunt’s traditional Korean Dress – spectacular. I couldn’t have asked for anything more – great couple, awesome family and friends and perfect light for film.”
