Rounding out a mid-week trio of weddings is one that couldn’t be anymore relaxed and low-key if it laid back in a hammock and tried. Aiming for a day that was casual, caring and inclusive of all who attended, Alice says, “We wanted the ceremony to be us, to be relaxed, caring and include everyone. We figured the reception is just a big party so treat it like one and it will be relaxed and a lot of fun.”
The vendors credits for this wedding reads like a who’s who of Alice and Brenton’s friends and family, with many of their loved ones chipping in to participate on the day, from making the wedding cake, and loaning shoes to hair and makeup and providing live tunes. “We had one of Brenton’s brothers read the children’s book, ‘I Like You’. It was such a fun moment in the ceremony.”
Choosing to head down the south coast of NSW to Jervis Bay, the couple embraced the coastal vibe in holiday mode, as shown in these delightful pics by John Benavente. “It was quiet and isolated, everyone could stay overnight in cabins and it’s such a beautiful area. I grew up near the area and Brenton likes to surf and wanted to be able to go for a surf in the morning. I think the boys were still in the water 20 minutes before the ceremony.” Relaxed much?
